DESCRIPTION:It is that time of year when we elect the board for our Shelburne GOP committee. \n \nCome meet your Shelburne GOP party members and/or local villagers with conservative views.  There are more of us than you’d expect. \nGenerally\, those who attend the caucus are interested in becoming members of the town committee. The only eligibility requirement is that they are registered voters of the town.\nThe caucus secretary should compile a list of all attendees who wish to become members.  Alternatively\, persons can be nominated one at a time. Nominations need no second.  The size of the committee is not limited. Anyone wishing to join the town committee should be included. The committee should represent the working core of the Republican Party in the town. The Chair shall expect every member of the town committee to lend significant effort on the Party’s behalf for the next two years.\nA person unable to attend the caucus can make arrangements to be nominated\, in absentia\, as a member.
